"For the W" is a large $100mil capital campaign project for WIU. It involved coming up with several ideas for branding it. This was a project that was heavily worked together on with members of WIU's Foundation dept.

I dived into WIU's archives to get inspiration for past "W"s we had used to identify ourselves over the years. That's where the "W" background came from by finding older photos and vectorizing the "W"s within them.

I then also used a past logo design from the 1960s as inspiration for the main "For the W" badge graphic.

That led to invites, social media posts, backdrops, champaign glasses, website graphics, and a kickoff video for which I crafted one of the first rough drafts of the script for it.

All in all, was a very fun experience branding something of this scale with all the connected pieces it involved.
